The Mountain Lodge parking lot entrance is usually manned (guarded) 24×7 during ski season. They can provide instructions for obtaining a key to the condo. During non-ski season, simply go inside (Mountain Lodge) to the front desk. There is a phone hanging on the wall (to the right of the desk). Dial zero (0) and someone will assist you.
Unfortunately, no. The parking lot has limited space, and cannot accommodate both the guests that are already checked in, as well as guests that will be checking in later that day. Additionally, it becomes near impossible to plow the parking lot during heavy snows when the lot is congested. Your best bet is to park at Top Of The World (free) if you plan to ski/ride during the day, then come over to Mountain Lodge for your 5PM check-in.
If your carrier is AT&T, your cellphone will work like a champ. If you have a different carrier, it probably will not work.
Yes. We upgraded our Internet provider in 2016. We now have dedicated, reliable Wi-Fi Internet access in each condo. Each condo will have it’s own unique Wi-Fi password which will be provided to you during check-in. There is also community Wi-Fi access throughout the building and in the Mountain Lodge lobby.
Mountain Lodge , located in beautiful Snowshoe WV, enjoys it’s own private parking lot – included in the price of your stay with our condo rentals. The parking lot is guarded 24X7 (winter), and is located directly in front of the building.
The parking lot attendant will issue you one (1) parking pass per bedroom. For example, it you rented a two-bedroom condo, you will receive two (2) parking passes.
The first digit of the room number indicates the floor number (i.e. ML276 is on the second floor, ML328 is on the third floor, etc.)

Unfortunately, you may not check-in early. It is likely that someone has checked out of the condo that same day. As such, the housecleaning staff needs ample time to prepare the unit so that it is clean for you upon your arrival.
Unfortunately, no. The building has a strict “no pets” policy that is rigidly enforced. You may not bring a pet.
Snowshoe is located in a very rural location. Therefore, GPS units are not always the most reliable source for turn-by-turn directions. Some of the roads in the vicinity are not properly mapped. We suggest using longitude and latitude coordinates as opposed to using a standard street address. Coordinates for Mountain Lodge are: GPS=38.4119 North – 79.9963 Wes Please be aware there is limited cell phone service in many areas surrounding the resort due to it being located in a “National Radio Quiet Zone“.
